From race organizers of the Canonicus 5k Run/Walk, slated for Oct. 12: Canonicus 5k Run/Walk to benefit the Children in Poverty Initiative, 10:00 AM, Camp Canonicus, 54 Exeter Road, Exeter, RI. Run with KEN BELL, Honorary Race Chair, to fight hunger & support children in poverty. After the race, enjoy the 20th annual Canonicus Fall Festival including tasty food, pumpkin painting, hayrides, inflatables, canoeing, apple pie contest, arts & crafts, children's games & live entertainment.
