From USA Track & Field: Molly Huddle (Providence, R.I.) added another U.S. road title to her resume, winning the 2009 USA Women's 10 Mile Championship in 54:01 Saturday in Flint, Mich. The championships were hosted by the Crim Festival of Races. Huddle scored an 11-second win over 2008 Olympian Magdalena Lewy Boulet (Oakland, Calif.). In her debut for 10 miles, Renee Metivier Baille (Flagstaff, Ariz.) finished third in 54:50 while Sally Meyerhoff (Eugene, Ore.) and Kristen Nicolini Lehmkuhle (Minneapolis, Minn.) rounded out the top-five in 55:05 and 55:50 respectively. |
