From the Bayside Family YMCA:

TRIATHLON TRAINING CLINICS
To assist those training for the upcoming Bayside Family YMCA annual triathlon in Barrington, the Bayside Family YMCA in cooperation with Joe Sbardella is hosting a free biking and running clinic on Saturday, July 25 at 9 a.m. at the Barrington Town Beach, located at the end of Bay Road in Barrington.

Sbardella is a USA Triathlon Level I Coach with many years of training experience. Joe is also familiar with the triathlon route for the Bayside Family YMCA race.

The discussion will cover the bike to run transition. This is a good opportunity to familiarize you with the route for both the bike segment and the run. Come prepared with your bike in good working order, helmet and running shoes.

The seminar is geared for first time or beginner triathletes but all are welcome. Handouts regarding what to bring on race day and pointers for all three disciplines will be distributed at the clinic.

Registration is not required. For more information contact Joe at (401) 487-1622 or Edna at the Bayside Family YMCA (401) 245-2444.

To register for the Bayside Family YMCA to be held on Saturday, August 15 or for more information about the race go to www.firm-racing.com.
