The City of Cranston released these details today about the upcoming Cranston Senior Games: Opening ceremonies will be held at 9:00 a.m. at Cranston High School West Football field, on Phenix Avenue. Over 1,000 senior citizens will be participating in this year’s event sponsored by CVS. Sports include 3 on 3 basketball, billiards, bocce, bowling, cycling, golfing, horseshoes, softball, swimming, table tennis, tennis and track and field. Participating seniors must be 55 or older. The registration fee is $12, and includes a T-shirt, goody bag, breakfast, lunch and a banquet. Registration forms are available at local CVS Caremark Pharmacies and at the Cranston Senior Center or online at www.cityofcranston.org For more information call Nancy at the Cranston Department of Senior Services at 401-780-6159.
