Triathlon seminars July 19 and 26 and Aug. 2

USA Triathlon Level 1 Coach Joe Sbardella will hold free Triathlon Clinics leading up to the East BAY YMCA Triathlon.

The series consists of three seminars, all to be held at Barrington Town Beach on Bay Road in Barrington, Rhode Island at 6:00 p.m. sharp.

Swim Seminar: Thursday July 19. A short discussion regarding open water swimming followed by a swim on the actual course. Please bring brightly colored swim cap, goggles and towel. Wetsuits are optional.

Bike Seminar: Thursday July 26. A short discussion regarding swim to bike transition, followed by a 12.5 mile bike ride on the triathlon course.

Run Seminar: Thursday August 2. A short discussion regarding running form and function followed by a 3.1 mile run on the racecourse.

Please note that all seminars are geared for first time or beginner triathletes. All levels are welcome. There will also be handouts regarding what to bring on race day and pointers for all three diciplines. (Note: Seminars are open to anyone, not just race participants.)
