Jason Pisano's quest to complete back-to-back marathons officially begins tomorrow morning. The 34-year-old West Warwick resident, who has cerebral palsy and competes by pushing himself backward in the wheelchair using only his left foot, will attempt the Breakers Marathon in Middletown and then head to East Lyme, Conn. Sunday morning to compete in the Mystic Country Marathon. ``I feel very good! Yes, absolutely, I plan to stick to my plan and attempt to complete both marathons,'' Pisano said. ``And I hope to do them in a combined time of under 15 hours - just 2 hours more than my first marathon back in 1994. I'm very confident!'' Pisano - who is more than halfway toward his career goal of competing in 50 marathons - feared he would not be prepared to run the two marathons when he unexpectedly lost his training aides last month. However, through his association with Johnson & Wales University wrestling coach Lonnie Morris, Pisano received some help from wrestling students Peter Reilly and Josh Corona. After Pisano let the public know of his dilemma through a plea in the Providence Journal, another individual also came forward to assist him. ``Jimmy Burchfield treated me to front row seats at the Manfredo fight so that was my last night out,'' Pisano said earlier this week. ``Now it's down to business, except for my traditional pre-marathon dinner at Twin Oaks with some friends and familly!''
